I've recently starting posting some videos I've made on a local Facebook group. People really seem to like them and ask if I could post pictures as well. I've only had one negative comment and it was the typical "shoot it down" comment.
When I go to public locations near me I've never had...
Focus should have been in place before then when I look at the raw footage before I headed west. I think some of the softness could be caused by the sun setting and not the best camera settings.
Had my Mavic in for repair because of a focus issue on the right. Just a quick flight around the neighborhood. Not my best but the camera looks much better in my opinion.
Interesting. Maybe mine is new too. There wasn't anything specifically about it that made me think it was refurbished. I just knew it wasn't mine.
Ultimately I'm just happy that the camera looks good and it flies good too.
Yes and they just pointed me back to their policy which mentions they could either repair or replace and it could be refurbished.
Overall I think it's a refurb but a good refurb from what I can tell.
I can't say and DJI won't say either. They initially said that my original Mavic was going to be repaired so I'd be interested in what other people are seeing with their replaced Mavic.
The controller and box that they shipped back to me were mine.
I sent mine in for a repair because of a focus issue on the right side. It was sent in and received in late April and the build date of the unit they shipped back was 4/11/17.
Overall it seems like it was new with no other issues and my focus issue is fixed so I'm pretty happy about that.
Finally received notice that "my" Mavic will be shipped back. The tracking number isn't updated yet but I received a call from someone at DJI last week saying it would be upgraded to 2 day shipping so we'll see.
The notice on the email indicates the s/n but this is different than my original...
Shipped mine out 4/29 and got notified this afternoon that the repair was complete. Should ship out within 3 business days and then about a week for UPS ground.
Received notice that the Mavic repair has been completed and should be shipped within 3 business days. So far so good but still expecting some sort of disappointment.
Haha.
I think my expectations were pretty low from the start since I was hearing how it took people 4 days to get the UPS label and a number of days from UPS delivery confirmation to DJI's confirmation. Other than shipping everything to this point has been pretty fast but from what you are...
I've been without my Mavic since the 29th and so far things are moving along. I just received notice today that it's in the repair stage and would take 3 to 6 days to complete. My question is since everything so far has stated that it's going to be repaired and take that 3 to 6 days to repair...
I feel I suffer from the soft focus issue on the right hand side of my videos. I'm on the fence about having it fixed since I've heard that people are receiving refurb Mavics that still display the same issue or some even worse.
Here's some video I recently shot. Help push me to either side...
