    An easier way to secure the gimbal?

    This is the one I use. It is easy to install and easy to remove. When I first got my mavic it arrived with the back plastic piece that the gimbal clamp connects to broken so I had to send it back to DJI. I didn't want that to happen again so I got one of these.

    Gimbal motor back cover; be careful when applying gimbal lock

    I too am in the same situation. I bought a mavic opened the box to find that the back of the gimbal had broken off. Looked all over in the box for the part and couldn't find it anywhere.
