It's not pointless to me. I've had mine for a few years. It's long since paid for and it's working great for flying my Mavic! You paid $200+ for yours. [emoji51]

I use airplay with my Apple TV ,on my back porch. The 48" tv is wall mounted on the patio. I can be about 20 ft away and it works great. Everyone can sit around the picnic table and watch the flight on the tv. It's great. And now it even plays the sound. Very cool.

I am able to use AirPlay with my IPad mini and stream the Mavic video to a 48" flatscreen mounted on my patio,by way of my Apple TV. Everyone sitting around the patio can watch the flight. Very cool !

I use a mini 3. Works perfect for me so far. It just does squeeze into the rc device brackets. I use a short cord I got from Drone Valley website, to connect the mini 3 to the bottom USB port on the remote . Works like a charm. Sent from the "Back 40"
