Since this was bumped from a few years ago....
I wanted to (recreationally) fly in a state park in Massachusetts (Hopkinton State Park). I sent a rather detailed email to the state park head, describing my intentions, would be following all safety procedures, my FAA ID, drone type/weight...
Absolutely.
After having my M2Z in storage for a couple years, I've discovered the beauty of 180 degree pano's using the M2Z, zoomed in to 48mm, and using Litchi to create a panorama in any horizonal and vertical degree. The M2Z (when zoomed in) gives panos more pixels per inch than an M2P...
I posted an alternative method to stop charging over USB in DJI thread using only Magisk (root) and a Magisk module:

If rooting your device is something you are interested in, there is the Google Play app Battery Charge Limit. I use this on a couple 2016 10.1" Galaxy Tab A S-Pen tablets (SM-P580). Works great with controlling when to (not) charge over USB and saves the battery of the Mavic controller.
I know what you are referring to - there appears that there needs to be a "destination" component between waypoints and an orbit which causes the footage to either pause, jump, etc. That's what video editing is for. :)
Being a software engineer, I really appreciate clever solutions like this! Nice work.
But, I do have to ask: Is there something that Litchi does (at least in this spiral use-case) that Dronelink doesn't?
I also own a Litchi license, but find I'm using Dronlink more due to the combining of...
Sorry to hear about your loss. Sounds like it would have been an awesome video.
I tend to use mission apps (like Dronelink) for video I want to capture and share. I go on-site to make sure trees didn't have a big growth year (or two) to make sure I don't run into anything. Being able to set...
For those reading through this thread, Dronelink behaves pretty much as I had originally expected Litchi to. Setting up a Path, with two WPs about 300 ft apart with one POI. Configure two markers, one at each WP, to point to the POI. The drone (at least in simulation), points at the POI the...
Thanks for the response and info, DJ Wes.
Agreed that Focus POI and Interpolate are gimbal pitches and I conflated that with the POI for heading.
My understanding was if two WPs are defined to point to a single POI, there no heading from one WP to the next. With WPs defined as pointing at...
You said "A second WP close to the first seems to more tightly focus the transition between them." By adding a WP closer to the first, I'm adding a WP, otherwise, if I physically moved the 2nd WP away from where I want to go to be closer to the 1st WP, I"m changing the mission and the drone...
I'll not address the privacy concerns.
I agree that the tracking accuracy depends on how many waypoints are defined. And that doesn't seem right.
If I have 2 WPs and 1 POI, it shouldn't matter how far apart they are from the POI if they're both configured to point at the POI. Adding more WPs...
It's a simplified mission. In the virtual environment, the 2nd POI doesn't matter it seems. And I did not want to post a mission of where I live.
Did you notice that the in the mission with 3 WPs, the POI doesn't stay centered, but the mission with many more waypoints, it does center the POI?
Odd. Probably Windows hiding the extension so you can't change it (there's a Windows setting to change that).
I renamed them back to .csv and zipped them. Let me know if that works. Thanks.
