I don't think this remote will be better in any regards than the RC. I have antennas on RC, it works like charm. And big but still compact antennas. And it was cheap and very easy to mount.

Today I tested the FCC mode. Is working as it should. Big difference between CE and FCC mode. It is like another drone, way better. Meanwhile, PayPal gave me back those 40USD.

Paypal gave me back those 40usd. So, no money loss. Tho, the fcc is still on my remote until the next update. If he will resolve the problem with the server I will give him the money, if not, I just can feel sorry for him.
