Yeah I had a Blade Chroma and it did a great job of keeping the subject in frame. The issue is height, if you are 50' + than not an issue the Mavic will track very well. Unfortunately I wanted to track at a much lower height say 20' or lower and the Mavic just can't keep up. My Chroma did an... -

Nasty mishap
Another thing I do also is make sure to place the front of the Mavic pointing away from me as its........ A) Easier to understand orientation vs having to remember controls are reversed B) In case Mavic does drop GPS, the hope is it will travel forward. I honestly don't believe I have ever... -

I agree Jim, after trying to use follow me and active track I got frustrated and looked for another solution. I eventually went and purchased a used Blade Chroma 4k which has an awesome follow me mode which keeps the camera focused on the user automatically. Also to your point you can...
