Why would they make a second one that wasn't better? And even if it had lower specs, it's possible that it would be more stable, and I am just worried to have something potentially break, with or without being my fault.

Don't know how to vote, i don't want to return it but if a Mavic 2 came out I would sell it and buy that.

First crash was outside my house, I started it up before I realized it was in atti mode and no gps mode, I didn't wait long enough for it to detect each satellite, and I also didn't know it automatically switched at the time. It ended up flying backwards into a small branch and thankfully landed...

I assume they meant the switch that puts it in sport mode, the other setting is P-Mode which includes GPS Mode, Atti Mode, etc
