Agreed, your good. I have 32 gb of ram on mine and i think its more than I need. 16 gb should be fine.

Head over to the delta. I film there all the time. Mostly farm land, lots of boats, occasional ships, windmills, all kinds of interesting things. I work in Martinez and live in Stockton so I travel across the delta on my commute. I have gotten tons of great video in that area.

Yes and no. You want line of sight at all times. I should point the antennas straight out as the signal is transmitted/received broadside to the antenna. That means they would be in the best possible position to work. Next keep a close eye on your signal strength indicators on your display...
