Only time I've seen that is when the app crashed mid-flight. The 1st flight is to the app crashing and 2nd log from when I managed to restart it and it connected to the drone.
Doesn't take many brain cells to picture the situation. Could have been an open top car but it wasn't, it was cold and the police had to knock. That means there's no easy way to turn 360 and car bodywork obstructing the view. Stupid place to be in control of a drone.
"an officer knocked on my car door".
While you may have been flying VLOS, how can you be aware of what's going on around you sat in a car? Sounds like you didn't know the police were there until they knocked. What else important didn't you see?
That means you need a bottomless pit of money. DJI frequently remove relatively recent phones from the approved list so they expect you to spend often as much as the drone again just to be able to fly it. The software should be compatible with a minimum spec. My OnePlus 5 runs it well, I'd...
Android 1.4.8 is a pile of crap. My old drone-only phone was a Oneplus 5, until 1.4.8 that was on the compatible list but not now. App was buggy on the O5 so I parked it and used my Mi Note 10 Pro. The spec is higher than any of the Xiaomi Mi phones in the compatible list but I'm getting all the...
The benefit is no interruptions and less resources being used so if your phone is fully charged before use, it won't drain the controller as much.

Flew for the first time with 1.1.6 and I had the camera on 3 second photos. At one point, it lost signal and after the usual pause, RTH automatically kicked in. My phone display showed the last image before it lost signal. No problem so far.
After a short while flying back towards me, it...
By far the easiest is to transfer to PC using a card reader. Videos you can see in the Fly app are cached low-res as streamed by the mini to the controller in flight.
Once in the PC you can do what you want with them, including connecting your phone to the pc and copying the original card...
