I you get to a point where you are trying to explain to a judge the difference between a plane, an aircraft, a sUAS and a drone, then you've already spent a lot of money on the ticket you got for spotting fish. Let us know how that goes.
Manuel Exposure is also very important when shooting manual panoramas. Auto Exposure will adjust the exposure as you move from a darker sky to a lighter sky and the final exposures won't match. Thanks for sharing.
There are a lot of height restrictions and warning zones (yellow), but if you keep it low, there are some places you can fly. You will not be able to fly in the red circle. Watch some videos on launching from a boat and flying over water. It's a great place to easily lose a drone.
I'm not sure voice documentary would help. It's pretty clear what is happening. What would the voiceover say? "There is a combine on fire in a cornfield. The fire department is putting it out. There is a lot of smoke. And there is the combine laying in ashes. I wonder if that smoke smells like...
I should have said: Be nice, up to a point. There may be a point where you just have to tell them to "Back Off!" while you are dialing for law enforcement. I just haven't experience that yet. The worst encounter I had was a guy that came out of a church when I was shooting the cross on the...
Thanks for clearing that up. I just remember on the Part 107 test one of the questions (and sample questions) involved showing your license to any law enforcement. The correct answer was: 'Yes, you must show it'. Obviously, FAA wants you to comply, but it's nice to know the real regulation. That...
I disagree. Be nice. Explain what you are doing. Tell them you need to pay attention to the drone and you can talk after you land. Give them your card. Don't try to hide. Be bold and out there. You are not doing anything wrong.
I printed business cards with my license on the back (home address blurred out). When someone walks up, I hand them the card and tell them I can't talk until I land…"I have to pay close attention to the drone."(FAA rules). The guy in the video was an officer of some sort (ranger). FAA rules say...
I've taken a lot of great panos with the 3x. Just pivot and shoot with plenty of overlap. You can move it horizontal and/or vertical. Then stitch them together. The 7x works good too. I've heard that a 7x pano mode would have to shoot hundreds of photos-no practical. The attached photo was...
