I just noticed that the Goggles 2 motion combo is on sale for US$639 down from $799 on DJI’s website and Amazon store. I am wondering whether this means a newer model is on its way.
I just got a Mini 3 pro in August, so my timing is off. Would a new model be backward compatible with M3P...
This is an interesting conundrum. If it had been me finding it, initially I might be tempted to post some brief footage, but if you include people some might feel it as invasion of privacy. I hope the OP does find the owner.
Under the section about the mini 3 series flight battery plus was this:
Measured in a controlled test environment. Specific test conditions are as follows: flying forward at a constant speed of 21.6 kph in a windless laboratory environment at 20 meters above sea level, in photo mode (without...
Very nice. Also one of those who would have liked to see more air footage but it is what it is.
As an owner of about a dozen tarantulas I really enjoyed that footage. I believe it was a Texas Brown tarantula, but you can do a search online to make sure if you so desire. And as it is still...
Just out of curiosity when you say new unit, is it brand new, refurbished (and therefore new to you) or unknown. Ultimately it probably does not matter as I assume DJI thoroughly goes over all returns.
Oops after writing this I noticed the OP has not been on since a few days after he posted this in May. But here goes anyway.
I know this thread was started months ago but recent comments were made so it was refreshed.
How did it work out? I too like the idea, particularly for law...
A few years ago I think DJI or an affiliate did have a trade in program, but that ended. Not sure why. Apple has a trade in program, but maybe for DJI it just wasn’t worth the added work or the risk of having excess used older models.
I just got the mini3 pro in August and as much as I like the improvements made in the MP4, I don’t see it making sense for me to upgrade. I would lose too much. Also I am considering getting the Goggles2 and hand controller. Maybe maybe not.
The mini 3 does have front and back, down sensor and I think the front sensor covers some up area for avoiding things but does not have side sensors which the Mini 4 will have from what I understand.
I have heard the mini 3 pro is quieter than the Air 3 but I am not sure by how much. The difference may have to do with volume/loudness and pitch. I am not sure if I am using those terms right but the mini 3 pro may be less intrusive to humans and to fauna.
