Maybe the word drone is the problem

Drone is an onomatopoeic word and meant so far only continues, low humming sound - rather not pleasant... ;) Hence connotation for this UAV's name may be negative.

    Video randomly stops recording

I mean another card (not another brand). This would be an easy way of exclusion card's defect.

    Video randomly stops recording

Have you tried with another card?

    Mavic footage stutter

After watching it frame-by-frame all is clear: This video is 30 fps (29,970). Inspire footage was shot at 30 fps and does not stutter (because no framerate conversion was made). Mavic footage was shot at 24 fps and converted to 30 fps on import to video editing app. - each four frames a frame...

    Jerky video

Certainly, and better to exclude the second problem before starting any discussion on the first - what I'have tried... You are right the longer shutter and motion blur mask jerking, but definitive solving is to shoot at 50/60 fps, although then the resolution suffers (on Mavic). Some helpful...

    Jerky video

You have misunderstood my intentions. I was the only person here who stated the file you have uploaded is not original @24, despite you have told. This was really not offensive in any way ;-). Dave only repated my words, maybe in more simple and understandable way. I spent my time and have...

    Jerky video

I have written several timas about "original file from Mavic's SD card" - thought it is clear for you and you know where the card is ;-). After my question "how do you send to YT" it turns out that it was not original 1080@24 file as you wrote, but 720@30 cache from iPhone. That has explained...

    Jerky video

Yes, but your video has all the frames, and some jerkiness is concerned with movement/fps/shutter combination. Here the reason is different - in uploaded video some frames were cut, and some doubled. Such video cannot be OK, regardless filters or shutter used.

    Jerky video

So maybe you haven't uploaded file from Mavic's SD card, but only the video cache from iPhone? Please, share the original file recorded on SD card in Mavic, or play it directly on computer/smart tv to see if it is really jerky.

    Jerky video

I suppose not, but please tell how do you copy/send file from Mavic's SD card to YT? Maybe here is the answer.

    Jerky video

OK, but Youtube should not convert neither resolution, nor framerate on upload. And your video on YT has 720@30 fps, not 1080@24. In the video some frames miss, some are doubled or even tripled, so framerate conversion is obvies, and movement must be very jerky. Please, share original file from...

    Jerky video

Your video on YT is 720@30, not 1080@24. So it must be edited/rendered somehow.

    Jerky video

Uploaded video is 30 fps, not 24. You have recorded video at different rate, than it was edited. In uploaded video some frames are missing, the other are doubled. It looks like recording at 30 fps, edited at 24 (removed 6 frames each second) and rendered at 30 fps (6 frames are doubled). So the...

Nice shots. Interesting that cow going backward - but that's normal for them in spring ;)
