Filmmaker from Iran - Now in Turkey!

Dorood! You wouldn't have an issue bringing the drone in, and flying it for the most part even. It is true that only Turkish citizens can register their drones, but alot of tourists bring their own drones and fly it around the city with no issue. As long as you follow the common laws of drones...

    D-Cinelike vs HDR

I noticed this, too. For these shots, I had to let the drone sit there and figure out its exposure before I started to shoot. It's definitely not good for every scenario.

    D-Cinelike vs HDR

I tried exposing the D-Cinelike mode as close to the HDR mode as possible, and HDR still had more highlight information, and kept the shadows brighter. It might not be true dynamic range, but I had a hard time getting D-Cinelike to look like the HDR footage.

    Program preferences for video editing

I used Premiere Pro for 7 years before switching to Da Vinci Resolve 16 this year. Honestly, Premiere is just not up to modern standards anymore. I am super satisfied with Resolve. The built in effects tools, audio tools and grading tools are just great. No more switching to different programs...

    D-Cinelike vs HDR

Hey there pilots. I was curious if the HDR mode is actually giving you more dynamic range, or if it's just a contrasty and saturated profile. I did some tests, to try and get D-Cinelike to match the HDR footage, and well, the results are below: I think the main limiting factor is the fact...

My Mavic Air 2 First Impressions Video

Hey there pilots! I made a video talking about my first impressions of the Mavic Air 2. Overall, I am in love with it. Everything that frustrated me about the Mavic Air is fixed, and then some. I can't wait to travel, and film more with it. Best regards, Mohammad

    Was I rude?

I think because mostly what we do is filming brides and grooms, usually people are polite enough to not bother us while we're doing our work; but I had this instance once where we were in an island, and I was following my bride and groom cycling in the streets, where out of nowhere this elderly...

Drone recovered from river bottom has daredevil stunt footage on memory card.

Yeah, that's what I am wondering. Did the battery just come off? If so, that is a bad way to lose a drone. Yikes.

In-Depth Test of the Digital Zoom Modes

Haha, I wish! One those Yachts were the demise of my Mavic Air; I am not too fond of them.

Filmmaker from Iran - Now in Turkey!

Thanks for watching! Growing up in Dubai, my primary language is actually English. Because believe it or not, that's the main language spoken in Dubai. But I am lucky enough to be fluent in 4 different languages, English, Farsi, Japanese and Turkish. It's surprising the places where English is...

Filmmaker from Iran - Now in Turkey!

I know the feeling! I was born in Iran, but grew up in Dubai, but had to go back when I was 18. Spent my university years there, so I have both of the views. Iran from outside, and what it's actually like living there. Spoilers: It's not as bad media makes it out to be, however, if life was a...

In-Depth Test of the Digital Zoom Modes

Hey everyone, Mohammad here. I was so excited about the addition of digital zoom to the Mavic Air 2 that the first thing I did was go out and shoot some resolution/clarity tests with it. Here's my full video breaking it all down: The results really took me by surprise. I think it's a...
