If I were a Luddite: I wouldn't be flying drones or using computers, I'd be smacking them with lump hammers.
Your references to those new-fangled flying machines and horseless carriages doesn't really take one very important thing into consideration. Planes, trains & automobiles are all...
What I was hinting at was the inability of any AI system to account for chaotic action.
Safe AI can only function safely in an environment where everything else around it is also autonomously controlled (like the ATC systems you describe) and doesn't have to rely on human input or have to...
AI will fix everything? Like the Google car? Didn't that have the distinction of being the first safe autonomous vehicle to turn a pedestrian into a greasy smear?
Agree.
'AI' is making people lazy to the degree that it's no longer necessary to have any store of knowledge, or to actually think - just type a badly worded query into one of the 'AI Assistants' built into most browsers and hey presto! a quick cut and paste and it looks like you're...
I would imagine that a lot of the 'scrutiny' would be avoided if it looked as though you'd been using it along with any other camera gear you took with you for the trip... and it wasn't still in the packaging.

Just had a quick 30 second check with reputable on-line sources.

Street photography in California is generally legal under the First Amendment, allowing photographers to capture images in public spaces without...
The laws in California may be very different to this side of the pond, so check your local statutes first... but in general: you should be covered by the incidental inclusion clause... unless your specific intent is to take a photograph of an individual or group, where you intend to use them as...
Europe (and the UK) have got it pretty well pegged - the mini 5 pro is or isn't a microdrone based entirely on how it is registered by the end-user: who can choose to keep the wee beastie a 'C0' by accepting operational limitations, or can free it up by re-registering it as a 'C1' class drone...
If video and still quality is a deciding factor: take a look for a mini 3 pro or mini 4 pro, the A&B roll clips they'll kick out will be more of a match for shots taken with the more advanced DJI cameras... less work in post.
Yes, the mini 2SE is a good little drone, also a good starting point to the downhill slope of wanting more. The camera is very capable for its size and if you can get a good 'un for 140 bucks: go for it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
My own two penn'orth? AI takes every scrap of skill and artistry out of photography and makes anyone who has taken the time and trouble to learn the Art of photography and manual post processing redundant.
With AI: individual style and interpretation is dead, replaced with generic, bland...
