That could be it. I use different workflow and sharpen first in RAW converter before exporting and then again in PS before saving TIFF as my final finished product. But if I am unable to see the finest detail in C1 after applying sharpening there I doubt the detail would somewhow appear in PS...
I'll be curious to hear from you after you do. You'll need to look very closely at some natural organic textures to see the difference. Just remember to keep the Radius to 0.5 - 0.6 in LR when applying sharpening to bring out the fine detail.
That is the unfortunate consequence of being in financial trouble. They obviously badly needed cash injection/investment which came with conditions. Sad reality of takeover which is what effectively happened to the iconic "H" in 2017 when DJI became their majority shareholder.
H is no more what...
DJI acquired Hasselblad and by the look of it with that comes their right to use its name on their drone cameras. The details of the deal are obviously not in a public domain but as far as it was disclosed, Hasselblad is only behind the color science of this DJI camera. Hasselblad does not do...
That is interesting. As a long time C1 user myself (18+ years) using it exclusively for processing files from my FF DSLR cameras I was disappointed with how it handled DNG files from my Mavic 3. When pixel peeping at 100% or 200% I saw blotchiness in the finest details like grass, foliage and...
There is a major difference between wanting and needing. Wanting allows you to wait for the "right moment", if there is such thing at all. Needing compells you to act. There is not right or wrong way to do these things but both have consequences, positive and negative. Only you can decide which...
I hear you. If you are after a decent drone Mavic 3 is certainly one of the best if not the best option in this price range. To a large degree the IQ is very personal and individual thing. Different people have different standards and expectations. What is perfectly fine to some might be...
What framerate is best to get the best image quality cinematic landscape videos? Some say 30fps some say 60fps because it gives smoother footage and some say that the higher framerate lowers the per frame Mbit number thus essentially lowering the amount of digital information in each frame. I...
It is impossible to quantify. DJI has never admitted that there was a "variation". But they usually replaced the unit if customer complained and did it without kicking up too much fuss. Which in a way can be perhaps interpreted as "admission of guilt"😉
Mavic 3 serie drones are all amazing for...
One advice I would give is that the default LR settings do not produce the best results. RAW files including the DNG from this drone need fair bit of sharpening applied before coming to life, so to speak. Do not be affraid to experiment and push the sharpening sliders to higher levels. Leave the...
No. It still has the same (Hassy branded) camera as the more expensive Mavic 3 or even the most expensive Mavic 3 Pro. It has been a well documented fact that these cameras suffer from significant IQ variations from unit to unit. Some people do not pay much attention to IQ at 100%-mostly video...
While I have no experience with M2P I can share my experience with M3P. I only shoot DNG and process in DxO PureRaw3, LR and PS.
The main 24mm camera
Good dynamic range, stopped down to f5.6 the photos are sharp with plenty of detail from edge to edge and corner to corner. Processed in DxO...
I guess you are talking about EXP curve adjustment. Yeah, by all means please post a link to YT for the benefit of all readers here. I myself am coming from years of flying RC helicopters before I started flying drones so I have pretty good understanding of how those things work. In this case I...
