Would become aware of what the current limitations and issues are with dji through reading forums like this one. If I had done that along with knowing dji tendency for poor customer service it would have been a deal breaker for me.

I was like you before first flight then around 2nd wk started watching youtube vids which answered questions did not know had yet.

I had abnormal gimbal vibration warning ended up returning to dji for a solution. cost $190usd.

I'm having gimbal and compass problems after the last upgrade software. Not as you are only when gimbal in extreme position but all the time in flight. Email to dji and they are taking it back. Good luck with it.

Thunderdrones thanks for the reply. One of the bands looked somewhat frayed but functioned apparently ok maybe not. looks like a software problem given dji go app shows msg calibration complete then doesn't remove the msg calibrate compass. Well it's boxed and it was not as much of a hassle...

after firmware update had two problems. Warning on dji go app "gimbal abnormal vibration" 2nd problem no matter how many times calibrate compass and changing locations as well get the msg "calibration complete" then look back in app and reads needs to calibrate compass. Lot of youtube vids on...

mini 2 working well here

after shutting off for few mins aircraft ver now matches the app version. Now find opened area tab and did use web site to unlock this area. But still it did not prompt me as before under android to unlock same area. Any ideas? Thanks

Did the latest update. App 4.1.0, aircraft unknown, flight and app database 01.00.01.04. Using apple mini 2 with wifi only. Before the update was using android device and would get prompts to unlock an area. And on DJI Go 4 would have a section for unlocked areas. After update and using mini...
