I also thought it would have gone further. I figured it had ten more minutes of flight time left at the last known point.

I charged the battery today and then place it back in the drone. The drone powered up fine. I'm going to assume it works. I already synced the remote to the new replacement drone and don't want to switch back to the old drone unless I have to.

It looks like no physical damage at all. The guy that found it did say it was upside down on a roof near the FAA facility in Nashua NH. No other description than that.

Just a quick update: The other day a friend on Facebook messaged me a picture of me taken with my lost drone. Apparently on a Facebook group he frequents, a home inspector found my drone on a roof and took the pictures off the memory card. He posted the picture to the group to see if anyone...

Firmware, app, and remote have the latest update. I took it for a short indoor test flight and everything seems to be going well. I'm going to be a very cautious flyer from now going forward. Time to research a decent GPS tracker for not too much money. Thanks for all the support everyone.

After DJI sent me the coupon code for a new drone, it arrived at my door only two days after ordering. I can't complain about the service. Batteries are charged and when I get home from work I just have to make sure all firmware is updated, then try pairing the new drone to the old remote...

I'm not sure why, but even though they decided in my favour, they said it'll take another four business days to send me a coupon code the order another drone.

I didn't know there were upgrades.

Not yet. They said 3-4 business days. With the holiday I was going to wait until Friday before reaching out to them again.

I just checked the "Find my drone" feature again and now see a line going from the last know location to further down its path. The problem is the map won't scroll and let me see where the line terminates. It scrolls part way and then pops right back to the origin. It this a bug in the software...
