Seems DJI has trouble with consistency of quality of their products. My Mavic has been nothing but problems. Ended up buying a non-DJI drone to get consistent performance for my professional endeavors

I have had enough of dealing with a chinese company semi directly.Any one heard of Autel? They have a cheaper competitor for P4 but their claim is they have dealers stateside that can handle customer service and repair work. Also removable gimbal for future upgrades.

I have had many problems as well, especially with Gimbal. People on this forum are of the opinion that you only hear of problems from some people, but that's not the "norm". I say DJI's quality control is poor and you do not produce consistent quality and some of us get your lemons.

Half of the guys at STS are model plane hobbyists. Call your tower and explain what you want to do and where. You don't have to be an ******* to work for the government.

I would caution to heed all FAA rules as these are the feds, and they are serious about compliance.

Why should you have to roll back from a firmware from DJI. I have other products from other manufacturers where when you load a firmware update, it doesn't disable your product. Who is driving this bus?

Having nothing but trouble as well.After last upgrade, gimbal has a mind of it's own. even at rest powered off, the camera sits off center. In flight, it restarts and goes green, then keeps calibrating and can't find green again. At one point, when I used left/right pivot, gimbal would respond...
