Just a thought but you have got the rc cable plugged into the right hand USB slot don't you? I made the mistake of using the left slot because it gave me more slack on the cable. Turns out I wasn't connected at all lol as I had the rc cable connected to my phone but the other end was in the left...
The mini is very good for its price point, just don't use it in heavy winds. Use the UAV forecast app and don't fly in winds above 20 mph just to be in the safe side.
I would actually buy a mavic mini in your position. From November all you will have to do is complete the dmares and this will give you the ability to fly it just about anywhere with in the drone code. The mini will not be under the same legacy rules from 2022 and you will be able to pretty much...
Of course. Took it to 300ft in tripod mode, no filter, f2.8, 1/4 shutter and ISO 100. There was absolutely minimal wind at the time also which is crucial to the shot if your slowing the shutter down to 1/4.
Well I got bored and decided to throw the M2P to 300ft and after I tiny bit of lightroom I got this. This is my local high street of where I live in East London. Enjoy.

The 10bit colour depth on the M2P compared to the 8bit on the Air 2 is widely regarded to be superior. Also the ISO performance is better on the M2P. This is why I can't justify buying the Air 2 personally. If I didn't have anything like the M2P I'd be all over the Air 2... Just my 2 pence worth.
