Moogarah dam is in the Scenic Rim area of south east Queensland. Built in 1959 to supply water for towns, irrigation and a power station.

Does that mean that measuring a path or area on Google earth or similar would also be surveying without a licence or is it the making an orthomosaic the issue? If so, could a top down image be considered a map? Very strange law.

I agree. In my haste, I forgot to put in a fresh battery and was worried about my battery and how long it would take to return. I was a bit far out.
