after my crash DJI would have charged me 200 dollars for the repair, which would have been worth it as like your bird the gimbal was trashed. turns out they fixed my mavic under warranty.

Fake new or not, there has never been a substantiated report of a hobby drone bring down a aircraft. on the other hand public opinion can bring all of our drones down overnight.

I would disagree, the actual repair process is very fast, what they need to work on is their shipping and receiving department. My mavic has been out for 3 weeks now, 4 days of that time were the only actually repair the rest of the time that DJI has had my mavic it has been waiting for them...

my repair experience is not going as well. They sent me a Label to send my mavic back with no instructions, I was expecting some instructions as I have had to have my P3P repaired in the past and that went very smooth. I sent the drone back and it has been sitting in the dock for a week now...
