Must be very stupid, but it seems to help

I had puffed battery that I had not used for a year ( didn’t dispose of it). Yesterday I noticed that the puffing had disappeared - I have lots of LiPos for RC planes and never saw that before. So I charged the battery and at rest it looked just like a good battery; the voltages were a...

    Does Quick Shots needs Wi-Fi?

This afternoon I powered up with my iPad mini at a nearby field ( no Wi-Fi) and Quick Shots was not on the flight modes menu. I turned on personal hotspot on my iPhone, connected to it with the iPad and Quickshots appeared, and functioned as advertised. Now I’m really confused o_O

    Does Quick Shots needs Wi-Fi?

I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t have Quick Shots after updating my MP. Then I discovered that Quick Shots appeared when I was at home and my iPad mini was connected to Wi-Fi. So it appears that Quick Shots is only available when Wi-Fi is available for Go 4. Am I missing something?

    NFZ in firefighting zone

I found the TFR posted by sar104 above (not circular), but it does include the park mentioned in my original post. NFZ restrictions certainly make sense in this situation...

    NFZ in firefighting zone

I went to fly my Mavic in a park where I have flown before, but this time I got an NFZ message with some verbiage about firefighting aircraft in the area. This park is about 15 miles from a wildfire near Tucson AZ, but the water tanker helicopters were reloading about 3 miles away! I was...
