Me too. a bit pricey, but the drone (smashed camera & busted RR leg) they fixed and it has worked flawlessly since its prompt return.

An afternoon with a generous member of this forum taught me more than reading every word ever published about the MA2 would have. Years ago when I learned to fly real airplanes I learned from the guy sitting to my left, not from reading the plane's owners manual.

I'll bet that's not the only thing you don't know.

Thanks guys. I'm already flying and flying a lot. I want to hone my skills with person to person instruction. That's how I learned to fly real airplanes and the way I prefer to learn the MA2. A local person has responded.

Still looking for MA2 instruction in North Florida. Willing to travel as well as pay for knowledgeable instruction on the MA2. I'm pretty competent with the basics but could sure use some face-to-face instruction. I'm in Tallahassee: have drone, will travel.

Well, I didn't exactly answer my own question. My question inquired as to whether anyone had actually revived a a stone dead battery. Nobody has answered the question yet, but one might think of that as an answer in and of itsefl.

My crashed MA2 languised in the woods for a few nights before I found it. Shipped it off for repairs, and it's on its way home. HOWEVER -- the battery, I'm pretty sure, was completely discharged (and very likely, the cause of the crash, when considered in conjunction with my own misfeasance)...

I think language was invented for saying, "NOW IF THAT CHILD WAS MINE . . . .!!! Every generation of humans has sincerely believed that the newest generation was going to H*ll in handbasket. But listen: this time IT REALLY IS!!! MA2 content: my MA2 with so-called "smart" controller...

In my IT experience, "update" is generally opening a Pandora's box unless you happen to be a software engineer yourself -- and maybe even then. Call me a Luddite if you will, but I'd rather heave my iPhone out the window of my car than comply with Apple's frequent demands that I up-date it...

The title pretty much says it all. I have MA2 (two of 'em, actually) and they fly well, photo and video well. I own and use a smart controller. While the app drops out with annoying frequency even when the drone is well within a 25 meter radius of where I'm standing, all else appears normal...

Precisely. Laws are generally designed to regulate and sometimes restrict rights, they are almost NEVER the source of rights.

I'm a licensed "real" pilot and have been for several decades. I don't feel particularly threatened or offended by "Pilot" referring to me, to my drone-flying friends, or to a city bus driver. Perhaps one day our species will take substance more seriously than form. But it ain't lookin' like...
