It's also possible with the Mavic Mini. I hit a wire on a large hydro tower and was able to restart it before she hit the ground. So if the mini can do it I'm sure the Air 2 can.
Won't affect the Skydio simply because DJI has nothing like it, and the Mavic mini isn't there answer to it. DJI is gonna be pissed because they can't charge an extra $300-$400 dollars for the Mavic 3 over the Mavic 2 because people will flock to the Skydio. Competition is good for the consumer.
In Canada I use the drone site selection tool provided my transport Canada. Airmap says all of southern Ontario in a NFZ. I emailed them about it, and they said they look into it. That was 8 months ago and no changes.
You need to get either a basic or advanced license in order to fly legally. I got the basic licence and basically I'm not allowed to fly with 30m of people as long as the regular rules regarding NFZ. You can still fly recreational in Canada.
