About a month ago I updated my mini 2 firmware. (Delayed update. I always delay updates. So not the same as your update.)
My ceiling was capped at 100'. It told my I had to be logged in. So I (ahem) logged out and logged back in. My custom DJI profile disappeared and I became random DJI user...
It's an excellent app! But your really have to understand the quirks of the various computer forecast models and how to interprete them.
There is an 'airports' layer that includes TAFs, NOTAMs and such. Very usable.
My previous two flights this week were done with llanc approval. In both cases, DJI restricted my flights. These two flights are the first time encountering this.
This is after updating the Fly App firmware a few weeks ago. Prior to the update, I had seen the "aircraft entering altitude zone"...
Merk, your efforts dealing with this is commendable!
For all in Michigan, the resource is the Michigan Coalition of Drone Operators. They are very active in working with local governing agencies on sUAS issues, and in some cases, battling them.

Here's a thread he started...
This was likely a TFR. The notam would have classified it as "national defence airspace."
The notam may have also included yummy wording such as, "intercept, detain, and interview."
Also, how far away is the stadium from CVG?
For recreational flying, the better app is b4ufly. It's like aloft's little sibling.
If you're in Class G, and the b4ufly app is giving you the okay, there's no need to "self announce" when sending up a drone.
