It has to be the new version of DJI Go plus the heat. I have an ipad mini 2 that I use with my mavic that is on the DJI Go version right before it forces you to relogin and register. I have never seen this warning and I have flown in 95 degree heat with the mini 2.

A downside to the matte is that it really cuts down on the brightness. There is also still a reflection on the screen, it just gets a bit more diffused.

This looks like a normal landing? Holding the left stick down when in mode 2 will force an auto land. A hard landing would be full speed down into the ground. You wouldn't question if it was hard or not.

That looks like a nice setup, but it's really uncesscesary to edit in 4K. Proxy editing in adobe premiere cc is pretty incredible and allows me to edit 4K footage on my 8 year old machine just fine. Yeah it takes a little while to render the final project but it really isn't that big of a deal...

When editing in the DJI app it only uses the clips from the streaming cache, which is 720p.

My ipad didn't update the app and I'm pretty sure a lot of others on here have not updated either. Must have set something incorrectly on your phone.

It's pretty easy to see wind speed coming from the direction you are trying to travel. Your H/S will be lower than it's max without any wind. Also you can tell by watching how high your RPMS increase over normal if you are just hovering.

Hobby flying does not fall under Part 107. So these those rules do not apply,

DJI will most likely never refund you, but they may give you a new drone if you can provide the logs and they determine it was due to factory defect.

The Mavic doesn't know or care what wind is. It just wants to stay in the same place. Moving it by hand would have the same effect as the wind trying to blow it away.
