Howdy from the Houston Texas area. remember to get your FAA TRUST certificate and also make sure you have RID in your software or an external RID device
I had a similar issue with my M1P. I replaced the cable going from my controller to my phone and all was well. Try using the USB port on the controller and see if that makes a difference.
Are there any USA companies making high quality drones, comparable to the Mavic line? I fly an older M1P and love it but I am also pro USA if/when i can.
Here is my Holy Stone RID on my M1P. I agree with Greg S regarding the velcro. I used a 3M locking tape shown in the photos. It is 1/2-inch wide so I have 2 strips next to each other.
Welcome from the Houston Texas area. I too fly a Mavic 1 Pro. My suggestion would be to go to no limit drones
(nolimitdronez.com) and load the software. it makes a world of difference
Howdy from the Houston Texas area. Fly safely and be smart about things. Common sense goes a long way. if you will be storing your drone for a stretch do not store with the batteries full, 50% is better.
I put skins on my two M1P's and it did help a little, out to about 1800 feet away. If it is overcast i can probably see to 2000 feet, but I agree a strobe makes all the difference (and i have that now too).
Howdy from the Houston TX area from a passed Masshole. I grew up in Needham, summered in Hull and went to college at the other end of the canal (Mass Maritime).
I respectfully disagree with you. I live just outside of a NFZ for commercial aircraft. If a plane is near by (and i have no idea how far away) i will get a warning on my phone screen saying words to the affect "Caution, aircraft in the area"
