My question is whether something like this would “fly” (pun intended) in the US because you’re supposed to have three miles visibility. Comments?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but as I was reading some of the articles, I believe that the possible ban was only going to apply to military usage of DJI drones. ????

You make a very good point. I was looking at some possible opportunities for flying amongst skyscrapers and realized that helicopter traffic could very likely be an issue!

So, will you use a star tracker with your camera setup? I hadn't thought of this before, but it makes a lot of sense! I have one and just realized that I could use it for the eclipse. Wow, my head is exploding with everything that you're making me think about! ;)
