I crashed my drone into the ocean and my State farm insurance is cover the replacement costs. I'm planning to buy the Mavic Pro Platinum.
I'm left with 2 options:
Sell my old controller (What is the best way to sell it? on Amazon?)
Potentially buy the Mavic Pro Platinum w/o a controller...
Just fly at lower altitude or below the treeline if you can - chances are there will be less wind.
Find a couple landing spots that you know you can recover it.
I wouldn't waste your time or energy tacking.
Also, going for distance just for distance sake is pretty boring IMHO.
I've been using my Tile Slim on top of my Mavic and it has worked great so far.
@Dan, Do you think it is absolutely mandatory to cut off the metal ring around the Tile Sport?
