You might want to delay hand catching until the wind dies down. It can be bloody tricky to hand catch on a gusty day. Bloody... literally.

Maybe worth the flight time. But for me, the regular flight batteries are fine. I find that if I have a flight in mind and go out with 3 fully charged batteries b/c I have the fly more combo, I will come back with one battery with only one light on, one battery with one on and one blinking and...

Beautiful! I just returned from Asheville NC where there are many waterfalls, although most are in places where no drones are permitted. Filmed a few with my phone, but did not get a drone up over any of them. Glad you were able to shoot this and thans for sharing.

I have hit one too, but no damage to the drone - luckily. On a related topic, I often have wires in my photos of buildings. I look forward to the software that will remove them. I can, tediously, remove them from photos now with photoshop, but that process invariably results in something behind...
