LOL. Same exact thing happened to me, including the coffee table. Thank god it didn't hit my big screen TV. As far as landing quickly, if you disable the downward facing sensors, it lands without the pause/hesitation. I had to disable them to fly over water.

Thanks for the beeper's coordinates, Dragonfly! Instead of using a screw, I think I'll squirt either silicone or glue down into the beeper hole. I've done this in the past with other beepers and it works well.
