I just found out how to move the camera sideways, ie you force press on the screen and you can move the camera both up and down as well as to the sides. However, I cant find out how to move it to the exact middle again sideways. Anyone found out how?

No, not at all. Mavic lost connection with remote above my head and just crashed into a tree and I cant find it. Was offered 30% off Mavic as compensation but decided not to. If one can just crash next one can also.

Maybe it is a March build thing? Mine was built March, 8th 2017.

Mine just dropped from the sky and lost connection to the remote. Can't find it, stuck in a high tree. My Mavic saga is over since I would never trust a new one again.

My Mavic also dropped from the sky, but I cant find it. After DJI's investigation I was offered 30% off a new drone since they could not detect pilot error. Can you see if you can find when it was produced by the serial number?

After much consideration I have decided to accept DJIs offer so now I just have to wait for the new one to arrive.

Well, the restrictions about data privacy etc (which "banned" drones in the first place) does only apply for Swedish citizens, ie foreigners can film all day long.

Once, it just dropped down into a tree and I cant find it. DJI offered me 30% of a new once since they cant see it was a pilot error.

So, after two weeks I got DJI's answer. They cant find anything strange with Pilots input or homepoint, rth elevation etc so I will get a 30% reduction on a Mavic only, which makes it 630€. I think my Mavic adventure ends here so I will most likely try to sell my three batteries, remote, car...

Judging by most videos shot with DJI's I assume not many are aware that it can drop from the sky without pilot error :)

I have had the same problem, I guess you sometimes will get "SD Card Error" in the display too. I got my first Mavic replaced because of this. In short: 1. Format sd card 2. Try another card 3. Contact DJI or seller for repair or exchange.

If I get a new one I am really sceptic flying over populated areas at all now that my Mavic just died mid air with 72% battery left. Loosing it is one thing, but dropping it onto someone because it just dies is not something I like to even think about.

Yes, I believe it just lost all power and dropped down, although travelling vertically as well. 450m down and 160m vertical into a tree. I have never been able to drop elevation that fast.

Scary, my Mavic that just dropped down byt itself was built March, 8th 2017.
