I managed to pry my son away from his computer the other day and let him have a quick fly of my Mavic Pro. Thankfully he was a lot more cautious with the controls than I was expecting, and when looking down at the video feed he excitedly exclaimed "Wow! It's just like a computer game."
He's not...
You beat me to this topic as I was going to say similar. I've a Mavic Pro and recently bought a Mini and am treating it as a completely different drone. Reading the manual and looking here and YT etc. to learn as much as possible before venturing out.,
I did a few test flights outside with /...
Glad I didn't read that before ordering as I couldn't be doing with all the faffing about and the inability to switch between the OE and 8331's (only bought one set), fortunately I had no issues with the gimbal.
Going back to my model aircraft flying days I wonder if the props were unbalanced as...
Thought I would share some experiences -
Recently bought the DJI gold tipped QR low-noise props and did a non scientific back to back ear test and didn't think there was too much in it however flying over a stream yesterday I must say, they did indeed seem quite a bit quieter. They're also...
First flight outside today and took it very steady after calibrations.
Although there was little wind, it did seem to move a little more than I expected however the camera was stable and it never looked as though it was having trouble.
GPS took a longer than my MP to lock on but maybe that was...
Thanks for sharing, my MM is on the way from DJI now so I'm reading up so I know a bit more about it before the launch.
My other main learning point is don't get carried away flying downwind.
Hi
I have a Mavic Pro (Mavic Mini on order) and was wondering if anyone has any experience of the object size needed to successfully execute Active Track? Could my MP track my MM in the air or my RC boat?
I've done some GoPro footage from my RC boat in the past and thought that rear facing...
I'd definitely get the combo as the additional batteries and case are things I'd want anyway. Popped out today with the MP and went through three batteries - I'd be really frustrated with just one.
I am seriously considering getting a MM as it will be more discreet than my MP so could be taken almost everywhere and I and could take it on holidays etc. without drawing too much attentions.
I was previously looking at a second hand Spark but the MM has a 3 axis gimbal which is important to me.
