For precision positioning below certain height, Mavic uses the downward sensors (flow sensors) to read the floor movement and correct the position. If the lighting is not enough or the floor is reflectible or have no "pattern" it may not read correctly and drift.

With the new prop you're increasing the pitch, however the motor specs are the same (same KV) that means that it is theoretically capable of performing the same RPM using a higher pitch propeller, where will consume more amps and in consequence will cause more heat to the motor if used in close...
I would suggest to trigger the RTH to let the mavic to drive home by himself, take your car or walk towards the return path to try to reach half way back.
Then you stop in a safe place, assume mavic control and land it manually.
I'm using Litchi for a couple of days and like it. Did some really nice panoramas using it. As I use an Android tablet, Autopilot is not available for me to try afaik.
