Wow where do I begin... Have flown DJI quads on and off since 2015.
Have never crashed one until the last few months. And there has been one mishap and one total crash. Both of them due to decisions made by the pilot but not due to my hand on the sticks.
I've never used RTH that often, always...
Yes I agree, make it a bit more intuitive for those settings. I do usually alter videos and pics in post but still experimenting with the camera and I am a rookie when it comes camera settings and photography in general. Have lender a lot over the years but still very green attempting to learn.
Yes while waiting or your response I discovered that. I actually pushed the physical video button on the transmitter in an attempt and it flipped over to video mode, now showing that setting. You need to work for DJI, it's been a few years since I messed with them and did not realize there was...
Curious if anyone else has had issues with this settings dropdown missing? It has the noise reduction and sharpness setting I believe.
DJI is having difficulty figuring out, I'm guessing a fairly common issue. I bought the Air 3 and after one flight realized it was missing from the camera...
I was talking to a lineman from Ameren Power that was working in the area about a year ago, that it was probably a phase to ground that I got around 6500 volts. He was suprised the power company never reached out for me to help promote the dangers of power lines etc.
Oddly enough A couple days...
Yes. I ask a power company tech and he stated they hang up their years on end, sun, rain and snow. They develop cracks in the coating. Ive been shocked before by 110 and 220. That is just a drop of how much voltage are in those wires. As I stated it's violent and I could feel it from head to...
Yes I am so much more in tune with with how fragile life is and tomorrow is not promised. It changes your perspective and I had to gain a lot of patience when recovering. My index and middle finger on both hands dont straighten completely from scar tissue on the skin graphs. Desensitized feeling...
Yes for sure, it happens. I was familiar with electricity and have installed a couple electric panels and meter bases, worked with it being a homeowner like most have and on the job. Knew of the danger but a bad lapse in judgement. Care to share how you got the broken arm?
Back in 2020, my boy and I had built some decent rockets we were playing with but picked up a cheaper one and launched it from our yard, it came down got stuck in my neighbors tree. We weren't too concerned as it was a cheaper one but the next day, just playing around we rigged up a larger...
Anyone had experience with this update? Has in the notes about adding the "apply for going past the 120m approval". May just be for the Mini in EU but just curious.
Kinda off topic slightly but this has always been an annoying thing for me on multiple items. First one comes to mind is Freon. That is a brand name of refrigerant. But yet every parts guy, sales clerk...I've even heard mechanics use the word, referring to refrigerant.
Then if you ever gotten...
It returns home at a slower rate than manually flying it back though, correct? Of course in most instances it wouldnt matter if your not pushing the limits of the battery.
Yes I got into the helis for awhile and they are definately a different breed and "require" you to pilot them to stay in the air. It definately takes a skill set. I could fly them but not as well as guys that was doing it for years such as the 3D flying....pretty amazing to watch.
I was floored...
