I have been able to save the audio as you said when saving it to camera then transfer to pc but for some reason it has stopped working, no more audio when saved to camera roll from DJI Go4 app.

I experienced the same kind of issues on Windows 7 PC. I used direct from card file saved in MOS.I found a "fix" I played the original video file from the card on my new Windows 10 PC and had no issues on playback. I installed Windows 2012 Movie Maker to the PC and no need for a new video editor.

As far as using from a boat (or moving vehicle such as from back of pickup truck) not an issue since someone else will operate the boat (or vehicle) and I can be free to keep drone in line of sight.
