    Insurance on a used drone

Update on this thread - they can do a PAP policy, and can cover all my photography stuff, but the drone component still needs a receipt. Will keep this thread updated if i find a solution.

    Insurance on a used drone

Working on this last one -- though of course the seller does not have to take this action and they have been correspondingly useful.

    Insurance on a used drone

That's correct -- paid cash, no written proof.

    Insurance on a used drone

Hey guys - got a used MP and love it. Terrified of it flying away on me and want to insure it. Read the threads here and landed on State farm, who I reached out to. The thing is: bought mine used, and therefore no receipt. I'm calling the seller to send me one, but seems unlikely. Anyone dealt...

Mavic Air - motor gimbal overload

Had this issue, took the whole thing apart, replaced the ribbon cable, put it all back together. Gimbal looks like it works pretty smoothly. Still getting overload issue. Any good fixes besides blasting air at it or paying DJI?

Drills and exercises to build expertise?

Terrific suggestions. Candidly, @AeroJ - My primary motivation is photography, and not racing. That said, I'd LOVE to be able to film a bicycle chase in Brooklyn (or something), and getting good at Point of Interest is great guidance.

Drills and exercises to build expertise?

Hey guys - I don't merely want to fly my drone, I want to become a *pilot*. I've heard that one should practice going straight, then running 8's -- but then what? How does one get really good?

    Aspiring enthusiast in NYC

Hey guys! Worked my way up the food chain first with a tiny drone, then the JJRC, and bit the bullet with the Mavic Pro. Very excited to get the first flights up, and have been reading up to reduce the odds that I destroy the thing in my first flights! Love the content in this forum, hope to...
