I did notice problem playing back with camera roll but not in LumaFusion. I usually let it play once to help get the cache going.

Lol that was the third take. First take didn’t go anywhere. 2nd hit the tree hard but nothing got damaged. And this was the 3rd take. It just stopped.

FYI, with the LumaFusion app, you can import 4k videos and edit it on, and export back out in 4k, you can download video files from all the cloud networks available so far. I am still trying to figure out how to copy 4k files directly to camera roll or something...

So I just managed to use the ipad mini 4 to edit 4k footage from Mavic Air and it works. I used LumaFusion and imported the clips from Google Drive and edited away. I added transitions, titles, color adjustment, and music to test it out. Both of the Mavic Air footage are 3840x2160 @ 23.976fps...

Just got one of this and it's working nicely, it can fit the Mavic Air (without the DJI case), 4 batteries, properller, cables, controller with the controller's stick on, etc. compact and with straps for shoulder. If anyone interested, can take a look at this link...

i can only fly indoor at my studio due to the fact i'm less than a mile away from the airport and there are too many powers around here. my MA switches between ATTI to GPS and never had any issue, just don't press or try the RTH option as the drone will fly up to 100ft before descending, and...

you are right, my bad. it's for the Follow Me feature or to reset the home point to your current location if you've moved elsewhere after taking off.

I just got an used iPad mini 4 with cellular for $249 on amazon. I read that having cellular helps with rth etc. So don’t want to risk the chance to have it fly away.

I flew mine indoor at our green screen studio, large enough (26' ceiling and 3000sq ft) and learning how to use it right, what i noticed is the apas doesn't work 100% when trying to fly by me... I've also tried it at my house (15x15 space) and it just hover and can't move when obstacle avoidance...

Doubi has really nice cases for mavic pro and spark. And they are cheap. So I’m waiting for theirs to release one for Air.

I was just at dji forum and it's been confirmed by dji that you can't charge the battery via usb-c. you can either get a car charger or get a portable power bank with ac plug or get a inverter for the car at this time.

yea, the MA's card slot and the cover is so tiny that it will not spring out but hard to grab (and I have skinnier fingers). I may need to try using the usb-c cable to plug into the computer.

I am currently using the iPhone 6sPlus and have no issue. Just sometimes have to deal with a whole lot of pop up messages that makes it hard to see the flight. Felt like I need a bigger screen.
