The worse is when you have an android device working just fine and an update come along and makes the app not even working at all. The android hardware diversity being the reason for the instability and poor performance simply doesn't hold.

Thanks for your reply. "turn off automatic updates" I did that before I installed 4.0.7 from the sd card, so I know it will not update automatically via the playstore. My doubt is if I go online with the tablet wont the app check with dji and refuse to work (next time it links to the mavic)...

Update: After some more attempts to have the latest version working (with no result) tablet reset to factory defaults, downgraded to 4.0.7. Installation ok, app working fine as before. Tablet disconnected from internet (wifi off). Next few days will do some flight tests to make sure everything...

Hi everybody, Brussels weather is not famous for being very drone-friendly. Thats why I got the Mavic, the phantom3 is not portable enought, so will take the MP whenever I take the plane. Only done one flight with MP, so far so good, ordered a tablet, waiting for it! Nice community! Brgds Alberto
