I just connected a 30cm length of red ribbon onto the cover on day one. Problem solved.

I can do it easily on my M2... then again I bought the Zoom because it could do it easily.

I just have the regular SC that came with the M2Z. My new 3rd generation iPad gives me a huge screen and goes as bright as I want even in the brightest Australian sun and I don’t have any issues with disconnecting from the DJI Go4 app. Also, I tend to follow the “Drone Code” and stay within LOS...

Wrong, it upsets everyone else in the world. It’s the automatic assumption that everyone on here is in the USA. Not just on this site either.

I was about to give up, but gave it one more try and it worked. They use a tiny amount of glue when fitting the original cover. Just make sure you don’t put pressure on the gimbal, tricky manoeuvre but it can be done, twist the lens cap only... you can see where the cap and casing gap is. Good...

“What matters is what you do, not others”? Just remember that little gem when authorities make flying more and more restrictive because of people doing the wrong thing.

I must be living in the wrong place. One of the rules here in Australia is strictly VLOS, another is don’t fly over highways and people. Do you not have these same limitations where you are? If you don’t, that’s fine but I have an idea you do.... so I have question.... in most of the drone vids...

So, you’re suggesting that all pilots posting on here complaining of warnings telling them they are over 400 ft are holders of part 107?

Surely flying above 400 feet (AGL) is illegal for regular pilots? Are you suggesting that should you want to fly over an 800 foot Building/structure..... that you can legally fly 400 ft over it... meaning you are at 1200 ft AGL. I’m puzzled.

Surely, if in doubt, nobody should be using auto RTH. I’m assuming pilots on here are flying VLOS, so just guide the aircraft back manually..... much more satisfying and more importantly.... safer.
