I'm inland a bit, not so much water, and it's really the salties (saltwater crocs) that you've gotta worry about. That said, you do have to be careful around any water bodies, hell, round here you really only hover over the toilet, it's not a relaxing business...

Out bush in Aus we don't worry about NFZs enforced by DJI, we worry about wedgies enforcing NFZs. I'm on constant lookout for the big buggers when flying, for me if I see any of the kites/eagles/hawks start to take an interest I go to low altitude and head for home... Wedge-tailed eagles...

Can only speak for the Lifeproof - there are magnets in the front screen cover, but that can be easily "peeled" away I think...Just playing with it now it seems more sturdily secured than I thought. Probably just muppet user error though. They don't affect the ipad itself, would the magnets...

Can I ask what formats DD will export your map/photo as under the trial/free? I see an overlain photo over GoogleEarth posted, and there's mention on the website for export of jpeg and geotiff, but not as part of the free trial.

Can anyone confirm that the login is/is not required each flight/startup and requires telcomms? Basically, I work remote and end up in some very pretty parts of the country with no telcomms (Pilbara currently, but deserts, etc as well), would be a shame not to be able to put the drone in the...
