Unfortunately the Mavic air 2 doesn't use the GO4App it uses the go fly app. Airsense gives me a type of situation awareness of my surrounding air space.
I'm so happy I join this forum. It makes me feel like I'm all part of the Mavic family. Very kind community. Thanks everyone I wasn't expecting this welcoming.
Awesome thanks. Yea I live by Frenchtown the sea plane was my major concern. I won't even consider try to fly in this area. That sea plane fly so low over my house that I can see the passengers lol. Water island I was granted permission but only to fly below 200 ft. Airsense automáticaly...
Hey thanks I was also recommended redhook. But where would it be a good spot to takeoff where I won't attract to many attention to myself?. I am currently just testing the drone by Tutu Park Mall Parking lot. I'm also considering some low flying by water island.
There is a lot of restriction here. But not to bad. I'm looking to take the 5 minute ferry to the next island near by. The island name is water island. I was curious to know how far this drone can fly? Maybe I won't have to take the ferry considering how close the island really is.
Thanks for the info. I can see this test would relate commonly to aviation. The different airspace rule etc... I will check this out. And hope to achieve getting this license to fly. As you can see the island I live on is mostly covered by different airspace considering how small the island...
Ohh major thanks for this info. I am so happy i found this forum. I'm getting better info than DJI could ever provide. Did it took long to get the 107? Also, where do I apply for it?
I was told of an app of some sort that you can create a flight plan and you can send it to the airport ATC and ask for approval. This is of course if you have the Part 107 - Remote Pilot Certificate. I have a friend who i think still works in our airport ATC. My question how does this app send...
I have authorization for the blue circle in the screenshot, not the red. What I don't understand why have those 2 zones one on top the other? Why not make it a red zone completely? Because it makes no sense to unlock the blue zone below it if you would still be denied access from the RedZone on...
I live not too far away from the airport. I understand all the safety measures that are applied to these new drones. But this one I find very confusing. Below here is a picture of my concern. I am trying to fly my drone within the blue zone area, I have gained legal access to fly within the blue...
Thank you will look to post some videos and photos. I was looking to post my first picture but the image is too raw and the quality is too big to upload.
Hello to all members. I am from the United States Virgin Islands looking to make some new friends here on the forums. I'm a new drone pilot looking to learn more about flying and learn from each experience you all are willing to share. I currently purchase my first drone DJI Mavic Air 2 / Fly...
