Yes, I would. I'm very happy with my M2P. I have the standard controller that comes with the fly more combo. Not sure if I would go the extra bucks for the smart controller. I do pretty well with What the hell could DJI possibly do, to improve on what they already produce? Telepathic control...

$300??? US??? For a Mavic 2 Pro? Are you nuts? Probably worth AT LEAST $700, when they're still selling for $1400 new.

Those are all good points, pro and con. And, if I had the $700 US lying around, I'd probably buy one. But, being a working bloke with limited funds, I stressed a LONG time, before I finally went ahead and bought the M2P. I don't think I will have a clear conscience to drop the additional moola...
