I ended up trying the Dragon Touch tablet.
Not sure why they make the dji fly app need such a powerful phone or tablet to work.
The Fly app didn't work.
But the Litchi app does and the goggles work too.
Now to learn about Litchi lol
The tablets are less than $40 but also 10" so I really didn't want to go that big
Been trying some adapters to go between the controller and phone but those don't work.
Just trying to make the goggles work with the mini 2
The hdmi output is rare on small tablets
Dragon Touch K10

I used the shield with my mavic pro and avegant glyph goggles but that was a couple years ago and with the Go app
I still have a P3A with the hdmi module on the controller and can use the goggles.
Trying to use the goggles with my new mini 2 but need a tablet with the hdmi output
Dragon Touch...
I need the Nvidea Shield K1 for the hdmi output to use my goggles and DJI says I need 6.0 or higher for android
nvidea is only 5.0 but can be upgraded to 7.0 nougat
Is the Go Fly app as sensitive to phones and tablets like the Go app was?
I was just doing the search with this same problem but it's with the mini 2.
It hovers about 2' off the ground and says not suitable for landing
It's on smooth concrete and same area as takeoff
I even tried on the asphalt street and same thing
Tried auto and manual landing
Only way it will land...
Any recommendations for must haves?
Maybe the charging hub? Charging the battery in the drone might get old.
I have an extra battery which is probably enough. Do the batteries need to be oem? The smart batteries in the phantom series sometimes had issues if they were non oem.
Sold my mavic pro a couple years ago.
Just picked up a refurb mini 2 from dji, $385 with extra battery. Not sure why it's refurb since it looks brand new.
So far I think it's the best bang for the buck. I've had dji since the phantom 1.
I didn't want to get into the $1000 range and very happy...
Sold my mavic pro a couple years ago so I haven't posted. My dad is here somewhere with his P3A but it doesn't get used much.
We're both impressed with the mini 2. Other than a couple features it flies just as far and takes great videos.
Even handled the wind on the lake the other day.
Feels...
I'm with you jay
I think I started a similar thread years ago
Also another forum got me thinking to sell my mavic pro
It takes me longer to confirm my actions and fly
I actually bought a cheap drone to have some fun and just fly
Nothing about geo fence or fly zones, just fly
Does it go to...
I almost bought the magnet plugs but HWCM got a stick error when using them.
I have the reversible cables. I'm amazed how easy they are to use for both ends.
No more fumbling or marking cables to which end is up...
After the brief glimpse of the woman and her clothes, who would take the time at 4am in the dark to video her?
She just happened to get the surveillance camera and the very next day the alleged drone appeared?
I agree with the others, takes a bit of skill to fly in that mess unless you...
