i agree. the discharge rate of a mavic air vs a gopro would be quite different, especially since there are variable discharge rates for the drone, while the gopro will stay somewhat constant throughout its use (nominally).

i've been reading around in this thread about motor current issues (there's a couple of examples in this page alone).

i've never had a motor current issue (in the 3 times i've flown the drone). i'm not quite sure if the 1-2 min of extra flight time or the lower pitch of the motor is quite worth dealing with the issue.

i know i'm bringing back an old thread, but i am experiencing the same issue. i hold the sticks down and out, or down and in, and the motors don't kick on. but i can take-off from the app. landing isn't an issue, and this is the only issue i'm having with the remote.

i have been looking at the solar storm skin. though it's a little bright for my taste (the valkyrie skin looked sweet!), the benefits of seeing it against a green backdrop probably outweigh the aesthetics of it.
