An Air 3 clone, rebrand, or a DJI manufacturer "pirated" it? The mysterious new Specta Air Drone!

I was browsing YouTube and suddenly popped up a video revealing the existence of this thing: Specta Air Drone I've never before seen something like this, an exact version of a DJI drone rebranded to a strange brand! It's already being sold at Amazon and has several reviews of it! Looks like the...

First day with Mini 4 Pro. Returning it tomorrow.

Could it be that the lens of this Mini 4 Pro has some sort of protective film on it that is very small and almost invisible, that needs to be peeled away? Sounds silly, but who knows, you never know if some sort of lens protector is installed in the factory at some point during assembly, and...

The myth of the 'No Drone Zone' sign...

The link doesn't appear to be working, it gives a 404 page not found error. Did they took it down?!?!?!??

Well, there he goes- pilot flying in a National Park (US)

And the noise of helicopters, planes, cars, and so many things that make noise? Oh, and don't say that motor vehicles are something necessary but drones are not... if drones are used for "unnecessary" "recreational" purposes, aren't motor vehicles also used for pleasure and recreation too...

Well, there he goes- pilot flying in a National Park (US)

Can't be said any better! See my other responses to this thread. This should be forwarded to all people in administrative charge of all those public lands and open their eyes to the facts! Specially the ones at Colorado Springs! This has to change! Somebody must take action and do something!!

Well, there he goes- pilot flying in a National Park (US)

Correct! Society is always paranoid of everything new that emerges, and drones as a new technology are being vilified and stereotyped. And unfortunately at the government and specially at the "municipal" level the paranoia is usually worse! It's a shame that the people in the "government arena"...

Well, there he goes- pilot flying in a National Park (US)

Exactly! I agree that there're "sensitive" wildlife areas that are even dangerous for people to get into. But most of the areas that are simply classified as "NP" zones are not wildlife sensitive, take for example those very extensive terrains like Grand Canyon or similar that just have...

PHONE ON A DRONE LEADS RESCUERS TO TRAPPED MOTORIST:

Great...! But now imagine that same thing happened within a National Park instead of this forest... Most probably the motorist/hiker would not have had the drone with him due to the actual restrictions... so in this case, he would have DIED as a result of restrictions that do more harm than...

Dji Mini 3 PRO with Smart Controller ...

That thing looks like a frog! 🐸😀😃😆😄 Anyway, flying frog or not, I notice something fishy in that image: the gimbal design looks like the yaw motor arm is either below the camera (like on a DJI Osmo, not something seen on any drone), or there's no yaw axis stabilizing motor, making it a 2-axis...

Help: My Samsung S21 Ultra would not work with DJI GO 4 app

Finally it worked! The solution is to download the updated DJI GO 4 apk directly from the DJI's website, NOT from Google Play Store! Download the Android apk installer from here: DJI GO 4 - Download Center - DJI Then it has to be installed manually, as explained in the video above. The version...

Help: My Samsung S21 Ultra would not work with DJI GO 4 app

I'm using a Samsung Note 10+, recently updated to Android 12, and DJI Go 4 won't work at all, it crashes immediately when it's opened.

Why do we have drone rules?

It's kind of funny that Part 107 rules allow flying to 400' above the top of a building/tower/structure, while recreational rules don't, and are limited to 400' AGL even if flying close to a tall structure. So here we have 2 pilots next to each other, flying close to a 600' tower: one has Part...

Air2s undercarriage feels “hot” after flying - Normal??

I also noticed the bottom undercarriage of the Air 2s gets definitely hotter than the Mavic Air 2. That's expected since a more powerful processor is needed for its more powerful 5K imaging system.

Air 2 S went nuts on second flight.

I had something similar happen to me yesterday: hovering at a higher altitude with no obstructions below, I pushed down the left stick to descend and land, but it refused to go down! Keeping the stick down, and it won't move at all! So I switched to Sports Mode, and then it went down as normal...

    Air 2s, too "Satellite hungry"?

Definitely there's a problem or bug with the A2s GPS receiver or firmware that controls the GPS acquisition, at least with some units. How in the world is it possible that THREE previous, older DJI models: the MP, Mini 2, and MA2, all of them get a GPS lock much faster than the newest A2s, and...
