    Phone Shutoff :(

Good on ya bud, for retrieving yer drone. Nice to know the RTH actually DOES work, eh? I got into a bit of a 'flap' once and mistakenly turned off my remote when my Mini 1 was over a corn field with the combine bearing down the rows.....I became super anxious in the span of 3 seconds...could not...

Do any of you listen to music with headphones while you are flying?

Can't imagine dividing up brain function between tunes and flying. Flying is one of those things requiring total concentration and focus, otherwise, why bother. Driving SHOULD be the same actually. LOLOL

NEWBY I AM GOING LOOSE IT

I too have 'fear' of losing it although my wife suggests I 'lost it' many years ago. I think she means something else.... I have a Mini 1 and I have to agree with a pilot's response (down the page a bit), you've got great acreage so use it, get truly familiar with the controls and what the...

Crashed mini 1, but not sure why

One other situation to be aware of, is one where you are flying in close proximity to large electric motors or other similar electrical operations. Last season, I was amongst operating grain elevators when.....yup, Mini 1 suddenly had an 'attraction' for a grain bin. Like a dog in heat...

    Hello from Ottawa, Ontario

Good morning 613...... I echo others' greetings, of course. Any thoughts to share, on uses for your 'bird'?

    New to Drone flying

Good morning Johnno53, (here, in London Ont Canada, it's 9:10 AM) I suppose if I used the same styled 'handle', I'd be Johnno49. LOL I have had a Mini for about one year now with no calamities. My thoughts for you, are to take it easy and slow. Forget videoing until you get truly comfortable...

    Hello from sunny Puerto Rico

Greetings from southern Canada, PRDRONER! I have just a 'wee' Mini but love it. I'm not hugely adventuresome but have done a few well-received farming videos, using just the DJI system. Have had a few tense moments but no crashes, damages or losses. Some owners have such tragic stories. Cheers...

3 St John's in the Vale. English Lake District.

Nicely done Bransty....very rugged terrain. Love the music choice and your intro line. Exposure is good too. Warm cheers! John in London Canada

    An ideal Tablet.

I acquired a new Samsung A71 prior to/for the DJI Mini purchase. It JUST fit the Mini controller. Presently, my daughter thought I should have a nice case for my phone that would include a spiffy prop/folding finger-ring on the back side...oh lovely but then it would not fit the controller...

    Windblown pad

That's a tricky situation. For snowy ground, I made 4, ground spikes out of 1/8" wire....about 9+ " long and a 90° bend with another 4". The long portion gets shoved through the loop on an angle, down into the snow. The shorter portion forms a 'hook' over the loop so the pad is well secured...

New Bright Camo Skin - WrapGrade

Call me stupid....why would a hi-vis wrap be called 'camo'? I have sooo much to learn...

Will the Mini 2 fly safely in rain?

    Fascinating.....

Has anyone tried Plastidip on their drone?

Interesting challenge Bbqjoe.... a couple of questions for you: 1) if your visibility issue is for in-flight help, I'd caution you to be careful of expectations. Your drone may not be much more visible in the sky, at distance. Just sayin. Hope I'm wrong....probably am. 2) plastidip may add...

    3 Gurbino village

Seems very rural....love the odd 'street light'! Obviously, not much traffic in/out of the village. Is it actually inhabited (with people, not just wild-life)?
