Out of luck with a Moto G7?
It has a compass. Go to Google Maps and click on the pin where you are located and then click on calibrate compass. Some models have it and some don't. Market Dependent.. -

The led is attached to a clip and it snaps on the underbelly of the MM. Very easy to put on and take off. -

Get the Firehouse Technologies strobe for the MM. Snaps on and off and can be seen for 3 miles.. -

My Moto G7 Power works fine with the MM. It is a 64 bit phone and it barely fits in the remote holder..
