I only have the MC 1 and original Avata, but I would have to argue that the MC can provide as good or better control than the RC controller, at least for me. I am fairly experienced witht the RC controller in M mode, especially with the DJI FPV drone, but when flying the avata as low as possible...
Thanks folks. I had the same question when I flew over it and have not found any info on it. Its clearly man made and the lake is very shallow. Whatever it is it seems like they would have had to drain the lake in order to build it. Maybe a dam or causeway when the lake is lower?

Thanks. It was filmed with the DJI Action 2 Camera piggyback on the FPV Drone. All camera setting set to Auto and filmed in 4K/60. No filters or after processing, just raw video. The stock camera on the FPV drone is is poor at best and I really like the Action 2...
Yeah, I admit flyiing the Avata low is more exciting than the faster FPV drone, but it comes with a LOT more risk! I crashed the Avata on my first flight here late in the afternoon up near the top of the mountain and decided to try to retrieve it before dark. 2500' away and 400' up the mountain...
Thanks, this area is maybe 20 miles south of the Dead Mountains and a similar distance north of Lake Havasu. It is Mojave Desert and fairly barren even by desert standards, but the ragged Mountains give it character!
