    DJI Go4 / IOS & viewing photos

Only want to see the low res file, if I press download, then that will work. Everything worked fine for the first 6 months or so.

    DJI Go4 / IOS & viewing photos

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely doesn’t work for me, I just get a white screen. Regarding the SD card, it doesn’t recognise the card at all so it’s unrelated to file type. I shoot raw in my other cameras and IOS can recognise raw now - I use Lightroom mobile and edit raw regularly. My...

    DJI Go4 / IOS & viewing photos

Hey, Sometime ago after an update to the Go4 app, the ability to view images from within the app was lost for me. I can see all photos that have been taken in the grid view, just can’t view single images after I select one. Aircraft is Mavic Air and is update to latest firmware. I’m using IOS...

    DJI Mavic pilots - Australia

It will fly and you can do as you please, however you will be breaking the law and ‘could’ be fined. Also not a good look for other pilots who do the right thing. Not sure if / when the data for NFZ will apply directly to the drone to prevent taking off in that area if at all in Australia...

    File management - bracketing (AEB)

Thank you. I didn't use the panorama mode on the drone, I used AEB mode and manually framed each shot in a panorama range, 2 rows high so I maximised both height and width - then crop in post as required. step 2 is where my main query lies. There has to be an easier way to identify the...

    File management - bracketing (AEB)

Here is a quick example I took whilst testing AEB out (wasn't something I was planning to publish so composition / edit wasn't the aim here). I used the 5 shot AEB mode on my Mavic air, took 7 shots so the final HDR image contains 35 shots (all images were RAW and merged into HDR and then...

    File management - bracketing (AEB)

Thanks Larry, I don't have any issues with this process using a regular camera, I shoot with a Panasonic G85 and lightroom functions as expected with HDR / Panorama merge - the issue is with my Mavic Air. DJI AEB mode isn't detected in lightroom.... The file names don't have any uniqueness to...

    File management - bracketing (AEB)

Yes, this is what I was initially trying to do, however it failed on multiple attempts. Only way I could complete the task was the original way using two steps. I admit the first attempt was a significant ask being with so many images, but even on further tests, it still failed to complete...

    File management - bracketing (AEB)

Yeah, I’m on the latest Lr CC on Mac. Managed to pull together enough frames to produce a really nice pic with plenty of detail doing it set by set. Did a few tests since with 5 shot brackets and only 2 lots (10 shots total), it’s definitely a PIA & should be something that is sorted by DJI...

    File management - bracketing (AEB)

Maybe I am missing something, but is there a way to improve the file naming convention when shooting stills in AEB mode? Yesterday I took a series of brackets to assemble as a highly detailed HDR panorama of my family farm. I’ve ended up with 66 files (22 shots with 3 brackets each). All of...

    CASA review

Interesting that there is a workshop planned to discuss such matters that involves people within the hobby, so that's a positive step provided they actually take the feedback on board and where possible (and reasonable) implement changes that will benefit the hobby for everyone. I think the...
